There's that saying that states, "If you do something you enjoy doing you'll never work a day in your life." I think thats a huge lie. Everyone gets tired of work eventually. All everyone ever wants to do is be on vacation in Hawaii and nap on the beach. If you hate your job but its pays good money you should just suck it up and do your job. It all goes back to money can't buy happiness but it can buy a lot of things you really want. If you do quit a job that pays really well it can really impact your life financially in a bad way. Work is not like school because in school we don't get paid for getting told what to do but it is similar in that you have to answer to the big man and do a bunch of things that you don't really feel like doing. Work can be fun if you have fun coworkers. You can make work fun but you just have to make sure you're getting the actual work done.

Working will almost never truly be fun. Although your job is fun working isn't because it still requires a lot of effort to do your job well. I do think that you should take a job even though you may hate it. Since not all jobs are fun you should just see it as a new opportunity. Working is work and you should not go in expecting it to be super fun but you should at least find enjoyment in all the things you do. I would tell him not to be stupid and to keep their job because they depend on it for their income. They should keep an open mind about all of the situation and not just quit it because it is not fun. At some point they need to understand that m not everything in life is fun, but that is part of being an adult. I would tell them to keep it and really consider finding another job. Then once they have found another job then to quit the job they where at. Although they may find another job, they will eventually get sick of it and the circle begins all over again. Work is a lot like school because it requires effort and is not easy compared to work. Although work is more physical school is more mentally challenging which makes it a bit more difficult. Honestly work will never be fun because at some point you will get sick of it. Unemployment is not being able to find a stable job, maybe because you don't want to or you just can't.

It would be ideal to work in a field that one can enjoy. Unfortunately I feel most people either are unable to or don't consider the mental/physical toll before applying. If you're in a position where quitting is an option go for it. Realistically however not everyone can sacrifice sanity for wealth and it's understandable considering that most people have obligations. If you have a stable well paying job with benefits and unions it would be hard to throw something solid away to find a job that may not even be there. In my opinion this topic really all comes down to money. A person like cara delevigne can wake up and decide to be a supermodel because she has the budget as well as the relatives in the industry. A 19 year old with a better physique and face could be stuck at a Starbucks dreaming of opputunity but does she have the budget? Can she afford to drop a job and move towards big agencies like ford and elite nyc? I highly doubt, especially not if she's already attending college of some sort. Eveyone would be working in their occupation of choice if they were able too but most people can't and that's why you have teachers who hate minors and uninterested students stuck in compulsory education who could be training a skill elsewhere but are stuck in a class memorizing facts getting them nowhere closer to where they want to be. So no I don't think anyone should have to commit to a job that they hate but realistically if you had better options you wouldn't have been there to start with and you probably need your job at that point otherwise you would've left long time ago.

You should work at a job you hate if it means supporting yourself or if you have a family, in supporting them. If you work at a job you love, you may not make as much money in order to produce a stable living. But if one is okay with that and it is not harming to their family or loved ones, the definitely never work for a job that you hate. follow what you love doing. If someone wants to quit their job then so be it. If they are of no emotional care to you then why does it matter, it is their life and on should not stop someone from doing what they personally want. However, there will be consequences for them and i do not think they would understand how drastically their live's would change in that notion Work is li school in that one does not really want to do it, but they still get up everyday in order to get things done and progress. Work may never be fun or someone may really enjoy working making money or doing what they love. Regardless it may be tedious and never considered fun to go to work everyday. The criteria for being unemployed usually coexists with being homeless, or not having money to eat, or losing what they own because they cannot afford everything the have.

If we have our opportunities to choose the jobs, I would to pick the one I like. But sometimes, it depends what kind of jobs is like. What I think as long as the job makes good money even I hate that, I also would do it. Whenever you want to quit your job, you have to think about what would it influence your life later on or you already have other goals to jump in. You can't just do whatever you want when you are old enough to find a job. And sometimes, it just likes school. Why you go to school? Because you need to learn more then you will have more chances for your future. Why you work? Because you need to feed yourself and may be your family too. That how the life is. Always keep working to achieve your goals for now and try to live better to make it happen.

I believe that if you hate your job, why would you want to continue to work there. If you really need the job then do it until you find something that you love. If you are willing to deal with the job then just stay there. If you can't handle it then leave. No one can make u stay somewhere that you hate. If you look at the "if school is like work" I believe yes it is like work. Some kids absolutely hate school but some love it. Ithey all depends on the person who is doing the job or going to school. I believe that if you can have fun at work then do it don't make yourself misiarable. Always make the best out of what you are doing. If you ever wanted to quit your job you need to step back and look at how it would impact your life. If it us a good out come then go for it. If it is not look for mor options. Also work towards your goals.

If you have to make money you should work, it may not be something you want to do but it willl help you make it through your day. A job you hate will not last forever, it will be temporary. Some one that says they want to quit their job and do not care about the consequences may not be thinking in the moment. Whether you like it or not you kind of need the money to live. You can easily go out and loook for a new job and quit the one you hate when you find a better one. Work is like school in that you go to a place and are obligated to stay there for however many hours you are told. At both work and school you are doing something to benefit yourself. At a job you get paid in money and at school you get paid in education. Work can be fun if you make it fun. Life. Is what you make of it, so if you are dreading something try to look at the bright side of things and make fun out of every bad situation. When you are unemployed you are not making any money, you have no income so you can not pay bills. This may mean you have to live with parents or you have to apply for unemployment. Not having a job is not a life you would want to live. A job is a way of life even when you hate it.

Doing something you hate usually doesnt last your whole life. More opportunities will come and you will more than likely be able to change it. Sometimes you have to do what you got to do but your not going to always like it so you just have to push through.Going to school is like going to work but you just don't get paid. So sometimes it's not going to be fun. But imagine where you would be if you quit your job or quit school how you would be doing.

If you ever want to quit you have to look at what you've done so far to get where you are. Leaving before all your hard work pays off would be awful. If you are a hard worker then you should never quit. You should never quit anything period. If you ever have doubts about something that you need to do then ask for help. Nothing is ever impossible. You just have to believe to achieve. Going to school is like going to a job. Both aren't fun but you have to do it.

The first thing you're likely to come up against at work that will remind you of school are the bullies. Yes, the same kind of people shoving others into lockers and stealing their lunch money, are now the same people you might be working beside. They will dismiss your ideas or berate you in a company meeting.

People say you should love what you do. They are also the ones that have quit their jobs when they don't like it. The truth is, that's not always the case. Some people need to keep the job they don't like because they need the money. It really doesn't matter whether or not you like the job, as long as you make money to pay the bills. You always need to have a job. Even if that job is part-time employment, you still need a job. If you want to find a new job, look while you still have a job. Allow me to explain. You always need to have a backup plan in case the new job doesn't work out. So, by looking for one while you are still employed, you can still have an income just in case the new one doesn't work out. Once you have no job, your life will have to be on hold. You can't go out to eat or hang out with your friends. You need to get money or else you will be homeless. Remember, there is nothing in this world that you can get if you don't have any money.

At some point in a person's life, they will encounter a job they're not fond of. I don't know if you could go as far as to say "hate," but in most cases there are jobs that can be "strongly disliked." In comparison to school, well, those who do quit school because they hate it end up working dead end jobs they hate even more. For those who make the compulsive decision to quit the job they hate so much as though there won't be consequences, here's a wake up call! THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES. There are extensive lists about this sort of thing. Trust me, you may think you won't regret it, you'll hear those success stories about those who quit their job and starting farms and being 1000 times happier, DO YOU THINK YOU CAN HAVE THE SAVVY TO DO THAT? Alright, your job sucks, but unemployment sucks more. To make work "fun," have you tried karaoke?

I really don't think anyone should work at a job they hate unless it's necessary for money. I've known people that hate their jobs but just do it for the money. I'd say that if it is possible, find a job you actually want and would enjoy rather than being bored every single day. Work is similar to school and quite a few people don't enjoy working. But sometimes work doesn't have to be fun, it may just be your source of income. I suggest finding a job you actually enjoy. I believe nobody has fun at their first job. Some people enjoy the experience while others hate it entirely. I think people should find jobs they find fun and follow their passions for whatever job it is. Many people have gotten jobs just for the money. I think that's perfectly fine and necessary in certain environments. It's not as easy to get a job as it sounds. I know many people that are struggling to find jobs even though they have graduated. The working class is kind of tricky to get behind, but if you ever have an opportunity, i'd take it. Your job doesn't have to be fun, although most of society would prefer their jobs to be fun. Just work your way up and move on through life.

I would only stay at a job that I hated only if it was necessary. I think that being in a situation that you don't have to be in is a dumb deccesion especially if you don't have to be there. The only reason why you should stay at a job you don't like is you have to support your family and there are no other alternative options. You should find a job that you actually look forward to everyday and a job that pays well.

I would only stay at a job I hated If I knew I couldn't get another job. I think being set has a higher priority than working a job you love. If i can come home to a house that i enjoy than working that horrible nine to five is worth it to me. If someone says "I quit my job" i would ask them what they have planned for the future but i'm always thinking about the future so i guess its different for me. School does not equal work, school is more of a task than a job. School can be fun if you're doing right I don't always have fun but I have moments. Being unemployed is like watching tv with the tv off its a waste of time. A feel like a job after school keeps you on track like school did

No matter what job you have it will eventually become boring. The more you do your job the less fun you have. When you get paid good you can have fun when your done working. You can buy anything you want with money but if you quit you will have no money. Not having a job will be fun at first but then just like having a job you wont have money to do anything. Work will eventually become like school by getting boring after awhile. Just like school it will have some times that would be fun. I’m not saying work is not fun it can be. Some people will have so much fun working. There would be some days were there tired or bored and dont want to work anymore. Money can really change your outlook on life. The more money you have the more likely you are to have fun. A job that you truly love then you can have fun for the rest of your life. Some people get what is considered to be boring but have fun because they love their job. So it will depend on what you love in life and what you are able to do.

I personally believe you should not work at a job you dislike. I like my job so im happy when i go but i know some people are not satisfied with where they are. If you do it to make money, then do what you have to do. Sometimes you just have to do whats necessary. Even though you hate what your doing, you'll be awarded with money in your pocket.

What you do for the rest of your life matters. Having a job you don’t like takes up countless hours that you can’t get back. If you have nothing in life you can have happiness. If you don’t like something don’t do it, however always think of the consequences of it. Finding a job you love is hard, but is a must in life. A job is not everything, money will come and go. Quitting is the best option , but you need a back up plan. The next job you want should be ready to go. If not it needs to be set up. Going in blind is never the right chose.

If you want to work for the purpose of getting a feel for what it is like to have a job no, because if you do something you love its like you've never worked a day in your life. However, working a 9-5 that you hate can desolate your mind and make you regret every thought you ever had of taking that job and have leave a bad taste the next time you want to look for a job.

If you can you shouldn’t work somewhere that you hate. You should always find somewhere where you enjoy the work you do. But if you absolutely need to you can.But you should always be working to leave that job for a job you enjoy doing. If someone says that they want to quit without caring about the consequences I would tell them to slow down and get another job before they quit that way they can have financial security.

Personally I feel that not everyone is gonna like their job, like some people will have to work not enjoying because they need the money. But, it’s better to enjoy where you are working because it shows more hardworking and how of a good and positive worker you are. It’s better to do something you enjoy than do something you don’t enjoy because it just doesn’t set a good mood to the other employees or the guest . It just doesn’t see a good example for others. So it’s better to just find a good stable place where you absolutely love to be their and be doing what you want .

I don’t think you should work at a job you hate. I think this will make your life more miserable. I understand it might be better paying but I think taking a lesser paying job but you’re happier is worth it. I think the high paying job will bring you more misery than not having enough money.. I think work is like school because you always have deadlines and you have to respond to authority. I think work can be fun if you enjoy it. There will be days where it seems likes a boring job but if you like it you will find a reason to enjoy it. I think being unemployed means that you are looking for a job but you haven’t found someone that will employ you.

I don’t think no one should work at a job that they don’t like cause then it’s gonna bring you stress cause your at a job that you do not like at all and your gonna be all grumpy and who knows what else else could happen when your at this job that you don’t like unless you really need the money to pay pills or something then you should probably stay for the better so you could pay all your bills and other just that you need to pay off some stuff that are super important that you. Need In life,to me if I don’t like the job at all and I still get payed a good amount of money then I will stay cause then it would would be better for me then having a job then not having a job at all cause then I wouldn’t wanna be shrugging for money that I need.

I think a person should work at a job/career they enjoy, because an employee will always improve and productively adapt in relationships with his or her boss to receive promotions. If there is a job you hate doing but it is the only option you can get, then I suggest to just go for it because it is your only way to get a paycheck in this case. I don't know why someone in the right mind would want to quit their job, how are they going to receive money to pay off loans and payments. I would respond by saying " bro what are you doing, did you hit your head on a rock?" or I would just respond by asking him what the situation was and see If i can advise him to keep his job and not end up on the streets. Work is like school because almost every day you clock in and clock out, you learn skills that have to do with finances and you get to ask the manager questions. When you go to school, you do it full time, it reminds me of a full time job in the workforce. Work can be fun depending in how you look at it, if you can take it as something to do other than being bored then yes it can be fun. But if you taek your job as another day of work with no interest, then it can be boring, this is why you should always have a good attitude of motive to get things done and keep on working. But lets be honest, some jobs can be fun or boring, but I believe a job can be fun if you make it fun for your self. Many criterias can exist when being unemployed, you can look for another way to make money leaglly or illeagally, I recommend no making money illegally unless you want to go to prison. Anyone can ask a neighbor to do yardwork without getting a home job, as on receiving an actualy paycheck from a company. There are many ways to make money without being employed, but I suggest being employed to make money.

I don't think you should work at a job you hate because you'll just end up not trying at your job. If you work at a job you don't like it'll be miserable and will bring you down ultimately ending in you being fired or you quitting. I think its best to look for a job you like and you can succeed in. sometimes people end up working in jobs they don't like because they don't have credentials for it or didn't go to college to be eligible for that job. school in a way is like a job because a lot of people don't want to come but have to any way. the difference between school and an actual job is that you can quit the job and try finding a better opportunity for yourself and with school you have to suck it up and finish to get to that better life or opportunity for yourself. if you're unemployed look for a job I have never seen a Hispanic man, woman, or child just begging for money or job because I see them finding work or selling things; there is a way to find work without begging for it you just have to assert yourself and go look for it.

I think that if given the choice to work at a place you hate and a place you love, the majority of people would choose the latter. When given the constraint that that job has to pay enough for them to get by, then they will choose whichever job satisfies that constraint, regardless of if they actually enjoy working there or not. If you want to quit your job then you can go ahead and do it as the only thing that'll happen is your job will get taken by somebody else within a week. Work is like school in that you learn more about your particular job the more you do it. Work can definitely be fun when you enjoy what you do and if you enjoy being around your coworkers. If you are unemployed there are various ways of making money but the most stable source of income would be to find a job.

There’s a difference between a job you hate and a job you dislike. If you hit your job or should quit but simply disliking or being annoyed by your job isn’t a reason to quit. Especially if you are working out of nessecity. Even if you hate your job, sometimes it’s a living wage. On the other hand you could be working a job you love but me miserable because you simply can’t survive off of the wage. Sometimes you need to work a job you hate so you can save up to peruse one you love. You don’t think people working at Taco Bell LOVE their job but they have to do it.

working somewhere you don’t like can be tough! sometimes we just have to suck it up to get through things. There can be many reasons to hate a job, but if you get paid good sometimes the best thing to do is try to ignore it.being somewhere you don’t like can make you uncomfortable and make you not want to do nothing what’s so ever but sometimes getting money can make you like where you are. not saying money can buy you happiness or nothing like that but you can get things and be able to say . i worked for it and i bought it my self.If someone were to tell me they are quitting there job not caring about the consequences, i’d tell them there dumb and not to quit unless they have found a job where they are happy and gets paid good, because it’s not easy finding a job that pays good sometimes. work is kinda similar to school just without getting paid , your still getting told what to do. work will never be easy because sometimes you have to push yourself a little extra to be able to work . although many of us get tired of the same job . sometimes it’s good for a change.

I believe if you need the money you should work at a job you hate. If someone said to me that they want to quit their job I would ask them, do you have another job to go to afterward? Do you have enough money to sustain yourself while you are not working? If that person said no to both of those questions, I would recommend that they stay at that job for a while longer. It is always important to have a constant flow of income so you dont have to worry about how to pay for something. Work and school are very similar in someways for example, someone is always telling us what to do. We have to work together to get things done. There is a lot of gossip that happens. We are always learning. In some ways work and school are very different for example, we dont get paid to go to school. There is no homework to do after work. There are no longer breaks at a job like there is in school. The hours are different I believe that work can be fun. You can make it fun by who you befriend. Also if you do your job and dont stress yourself out.

I'd say it depends on how much you seriously hate it. If there's a job that pays well I say you should stay in it if it's a bearable job. It can be hard, especially now, to find a job that can pay you well, I say keep it and just tolerate it because if it pays well you would be able to provide for your family and live good. If you're job is so awful to a point where you just don't ever want to go and you start losing motivation it could take a toll on your mental health and lead to something worse for your lifestyle. You shouldn't stay in a job you hate so much but sometimes it's needed to be able to provide for your family and be able to pay for a house, a car, insurance, etc. For example, most kids don't like school and waking up early to go learn, but we have to if we want to have a better future. It can take a toll on your mental health and if it does I say just take a break for awhile or find something else you enjoy doing that brings you happiness.

i personally don't think you should work in a job that you hate. Having to go to place that you dread going to can really effect your mental health but sometimes you have to to what you have to do to provide for your self or your family. i admire people who wake up everyday and go to a place they hate just to give their family what they need even if it means putting them before their mental health or even physical health. if anyone ever came to me and said "i want to quit my job. i don't care about the consequences are " i tell them that even though everything feels overwhelming right now they won't always be that way. At the same time i think i would be very supportive because for them to say that takes a lot. You have to be drained to the point that you can't physically go anymore.

1. Typically, you shouldn't work at a job you hate because it can reduce the amount of effort you put into work and might ruin the quality of it. People are careless when it comes to things they don’t take interest in and so if you work at a job you hate, it would be very easy to be miserable. If you however need to work just for money, then while you may not enjoy your job, at the end of the day, people still need money to live. It's difficult to say whether or not if you should work at a job you hate because on the surface it’s easy to say no, but at the same time, it can be such a complex topic due to the fact that people will always have different situations. It's important to ask yourself questions like, is it worth it? Some people work at jobs they absolutely hate, and it doesn't help that they may have to wake up very early or get home super late. It's not worth risking your mental or physical health even if you earn lots of money. In the end of it all, would you really be happy? It's great working hard and receiving a great reward in the end, but some people really do end up depressed from their job or maybe even have their anxiety increased. If you work tirelessly every day except for the weekends, then you might not even have time to spend that money you've earned except when buying necessities like food. Why? Because if you are constantly tired from work, then why would you want to go out? You'd instead want to be at home and just rest/relax. The only time you might have a chance to spend your money is on holidays or days you choose not to go to work which is not always an option for people considering you can get fired for not going to work or it can impact you financially. There are so many factors in play here that make the idea of whether you should work at a job you hate or not difficult. Money of course is a materialistic need, but that doesn’t mean you should spend your life at a job you hate even if it paid well. People don’t live to work, or at least they shouldn’t, but working at a job you hate just depends on your mindset and how you feel about money. Overall, depending on your circumstances, it will help you decide whether you should work at a job you hate or not because not everyone will have the choice to leave their job or work at a job they like due to financial problems, but not everyone should have to torture themselves by mindlessly or consciously working at a job that they dislike since it can be frustrating or tiring. If you truly want money even if it means being somewhere you completely hate, then go ahead. If you can't stand almost constantly being under stress, being frustrated, or tired, then maybe working at place you hate isn't ideal. I suppose it just depends on how much you can handle and how far you want to go. Emotions after all can be measured on a scale or wheel and it depends on how much you hate the job and how much you're willing to sacrifice.

the belief that you're not going to enjoy it there. You could at least put in the minimum effort to care about what you're doing. Work is only fun if it's engaging or interesting, but not putting in the effort to engage yourself or try to, then of course you won't find work "fun." However, I do completely understand the mindset of not being engaged in work or a lesson. Not everything has to be up to you and it's not your job to make everything engaging, but it is important to at least try. Work is not always fun, but it can teach us responsibility and that there are things in life that we may not want to do but at the same time we must. Overall, life is not always fair and work can be fun if you make it so, but at the same time it's not your duty to. The best way to deal with these conflicting ideas is to put in effort everyday even if it's the smallest amount of effort because there will be some days where you have high energy, and some days you don't. Work can be really difficult to make fun, but if you develop the right mindset; it really is possible for work to be considered "fun."
