The roaring 20s were a time of dramatic and social and political change. For the first time there were more americas than there were farmers. During the roaring 20s there was inventions the took America up a new level. They started making the refrigerator and penicillin that sent America into the modern age. The economy went up by almost double between 1920 and 1929. There were more stores opening up the economy was going up a a high rate. Mostly everyone in America benefit from the economy during that time. People from coast to coast bought the same goods. The nationwide advertising really help spread the growth of stores creating a chain of new stores. There was More conflict than there was celebration because all of the immigrants wanted to live here and the Americans were really willing to share. Even though there was a lot of money to be passed around they still weren't having it.

1) The era was all abou the roaring twenties. This is the time of Jazz and intricate clothing new cars and booming cities. When i hear great i think of something big or revolutioninising. Romantic is something like love of caring maybe like Valentine’s Day. Idealistic is something that is available or can be accomplished like becoming a millionaire or mma fighter. Sophisticated is the idea of intelligence or deep thoughts like the meaning of life. Wealthy is related to money or being able to live well with running water a good bed food and health. Finally realistic in my opinion is related to idealistic while realistic being more of a saying towards a goal. Something that is not realistic is going to mars tomorrow. Some words that i think go together are wealthy great and sophisticated as they remind me of a millionaire who is a great or famous person with lots of money and books relating to sophisticated. The person could also be a person living well and not paycheck to paycheck. As i said earlier idealistic and realistic also relate as they are almost intertwined and strong synonyms. These remind me of something that can happen like running a marathon or training to be an athlete. The conditions must be ideal like you cannot run a marathon if you have a broken leg.

The Jazz Age was also known as "The roaring twenties". It was a happy time where people got to express their happiness by dancing and going to parties. The way I see it is that Jazz potentially brought people together, despite their color. Women were looked at as beautiful. They were called 'flappers" from the way they dressed to Jazz parties. It was a time to be happy, many wasn't the biggest issue at the time and it didn't see to affect racism as much. Jazz was all about having fun and expressing your happiness. The way they dressed was sophisticated and fun. People were wealthy and happy they had he money they did. They dress fancy and went to parties to show off their wealth. There was a point of romance when a couple went to parties together to dance and fall in love when they met new people to socialize.

The 20’s was a wild time to be alive. Back then it was all about having a good time and looking better than everyone else. Not in the way to put down others but too just look as good as possible. Jazz had just become a big thing and the people were loving it. Everything from the bari sax to the trumpet and the stand up bass. Thanks to Louis Armstrong and countless other like Count Basie and Duke Ellington the music just kept getting better. Everything just seemed to be getting better and it was. Literature was coming out more. The parties kept getting bigger and there was more of them. The women had changed so much from other generations. Now women that were more thin and taller with shorter hair seemed to be what a man looked for in a women. Times were changing quickly. Everyone loved this new change. The art was also changing. Nothing really stayed the same. Even car had changed drastically. Alcohol was illegal so gangster started to sell and when they sold alcohol they quickly started to own the country.

The jazz age was also known as the roaring twenties, this was the era where many things became popular and jazz was loved everywhere and played by many artists. Many people dressed wealthy, covered in shiny dresses, sharp tuxes, diamond jewelry, anything to make them stand out. Lots of people looked at it as a time to just have fun, spending money and going to parties, showing off what you have that others dont. Men then had mustaches and the better and cleaner they were the more you were respected in some ways. Also cars being made all fancy like having people driving in gorgeous classics. Women clothing here also became more scandalous, their dresses becoming shorter, tighter, and revealing more cleavage. This is also when warner bros started releasing films about the damsel in distress and the bad men. It was even a style for womens hair to more likely be up with some type of headband and a feather in their hair with a boa to match. This era was even when the grand opening of the Oakland gala happened, bringing the joy of theater to the people. The people then loved to dance and drink at almost any social event possible. But also the time with many races against one another, racial slurs and the famous kkk running around. Jazz was used as a gateway from reality and a good time. It gave them happiness and a place to go to when stressed or unhappy.

One of the first things that come to my mind when I hear “The Roaring Twenties” is money. In that moment, I consider that economically, it was a good time for The United States; people started to get cars, go to parties and expend money on fancy clothes. Another relevant thing about that time was the flappers. In my opinion, they were an empowering icon for women, since we have been controlled and suppressed since the beginning of time, and they were doing things that “ladies shouldn’t do”. Jazz played an important role in this time; the talent of musicians started to be recognized and it characterized parties back then.

One of the defining features of the Jazz Age was its ability to blend different musical traditions and cultural influences. Jazz originated in African American communities in the Southern United States, drawing from African rhythms, blues, ragtime, and spirituals. However, it quickly evolved as musicians incorporated elements from diverse sources, including European classical music, Latin rhythms, and Caribbean styles.

The 20s was a lifetime of jazz and new things became popular. People started spending more money on flagship products, it was a really good time for them. People were out and dancing more, it was a new era and most people enjoyed it. Wealthy people were able to enjoy all of this new glamor. The parties that Americans hosted evolved peoples views and people were more romantic. People were living there lives, in a new way, realistically. Companies made new innovations get Americans spending more money.
