How would you decorate it? What symbols could you doodle in the branches to represent what your family stands for? Why? Why? Why? (Hint: try to use the word "because" often). My name is kaylee avila I am 15 1/2 years old & I am a sophmore at Lakeside Highschool. I come from Lake Elsinore but I was born in Murrieta. My family is funny, annoying, & loving all at the same time. I live in Lake Elsinore & to be honest I dont see myself living in some other city. I wouldn't need that much paper because my family is so small well atleast like from only the people I know & only 14 people would be on the tree. I would decorate my tree like a regular tree with brown branches & where the people are I would color green & I would write in pretty cursive "The Avila & Recinos-Sandoval Family" & Draw & Picture Of All Of Them im A Good Drawer! I would draw glue, scissors, & paper because im close like glue to my family but I cut off some of my dads family out of my life just how you cut paper with scissors. I explained it like I did because im really close to my moms side of the family rather than my dads. I fight more with my moms family but I love them to death! But my dads family just isnt so close & we really dont have anything in common were like water & oil mixed together.

My name is Chloe Esparza I am 14 and a freshmen here at LHS I I've an average high schooler life, I Ike to hang out with friends and watch tv and play video games.i come from many different back rounds, my dads moms side is all Italian my dads dad side is Italian and Mexican. My moms mom side is Irish and white.my family is funnier then some family's they are casual and chill and they are easy to talk to.i live here in Lake Elsinore most of my family lives father away or in other states but I was born here in California.my family's pretty big like most of my family is religious and I'm not into that like some of the beliefs are stupid but they are like all Catholic and they are against birth control so it's like I have a bunch of kids that I have never met but they live in different states.if I were to draw a picture of my fam it would be smaller because I woud only include family I like or know or family I'm close to.but I have an average family they can be fun and all but as you go farther into my family in just turns into the lame religous part that I haven't really met or don't talk to.

I am Moncerra Garibay, i am a junior here at lakeside and i am 17 years old. I have lived in Lake Elsinore for lost of my life but was born in Santa Ana CA. My family is very funny and out going. I live in Lake elsinore CA. If i had to draw a family tree my tree would be huge and take alot of time. My family is very big. On my dads side my grandma had 12 kids and on my moms side my grandma had 5 . Includding of my cousins anuts and uncles that married into the family I would have a enormous tree. I would have to use alot of paper. My tree would be a cherry tree, with a little flower for each of my family memebers. I would decorate it with family pictures and memories beacuse that would give it a more special feel and help others that look at it kindda picture what my family is like. I would make my tree different becaue my family is different their not like everyone else. And i would have to draw a dofferent symbol for each and everyone of my family members because they are all special and beautiful in their way. I could say with all sencerity that im proud to belong to the amazing family i belong to.

My name is Natalia, I am 15 years old and I am a sophmore at LHS. I come from Mexico City. My family is the most important thing in my life, they are so funny, kind, just a little bit crazy and they support me and believe in me when I don´t. I live in Lake Elsinore, very close to the school. If I had to make a family tree I would need to use a lot of paper and my tree would have a lot of branches. I have a lot of aunts and uncles and a lot of cousins, and I like it that way, because I have many people around me and I´m never alone. The first ones that I would draw would be my grandmas and grandpas. The second ones would be my aunts and their husbands and my uncles and their wifes. Then, I would draw my cousins and myself. Lastly, on the lowest branchesI would draw the few nephews and nieces that I have. I think that I would decorate my tree with the best memories of everyone in my family. Maybe I wouldn´t use symbols, maybe I would use nicknames or something like that because I think that the nicknames are easier to remember than a symbol.

I am Estefani Vargas and i was born in Comonfort, Guanajuato, Mexico. I consider my family as an ice cube because as time passes we keep getting bad news, because the person who use to be the strongest in my family is not anymore, cancer is the reason why he is being weaker every day that passes, and this affects my whole family. I live in Lake Elsinore. My family tree would be thin with four branches and will have large hanging fruits trying to break down the branches, two branches would be almost dry because those two branches are the ones that have more weight on and they are slowly drying because of the wastes caused by the weight, my family tree only needs a small piece of paper. Dark brown would be the trunk because it represents the stress and the difficult times that we have to go through every time when the larger branch begins to decompose little by little until there are no strength to continue, with few yellow leaves on two of the branches with large hanging fruits because we have done everything we could do to make him feel better the yellow leaves are because we do not have time to take a brake because we have to keep an eye on the weakest breach in case he falls dawn we will be there to catch him and hold him all the time that takes until he can stand up by himself again the largest fruits that are hanging are stress and the all the effort we are putting to keep going with a normal life for the the baby breach and black leaves on the ground are every sacrifice we have made for not letting the tree lose faith, there are also all the things we haven't do anymore because we prefer to be caring and helping him more because my family would do anything for any family member just to be okay, the smaller branch would have colorful flowers and green leaves because she is the reason to do not give up because she is our happiness, she is full of positive energy and love, finally the largest branch would have have black and half light brown with a little green dots because this branch has suffer a lot and he is fighting really hard so that it does not dry and that some day he will be the strongest branch of my family tree again.

I'm Katelyn Mitchell and I come from Lake Elsinore but I was born in corona. My dad is strict but only because he cares and the rest of my family which is my grandma and grandpa are really nice and funny. I Live in Lake Elsinore. My family tree is going to look like an apple tree because my family always says "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree". I wouldn't need a lot of paper because my family isn't that big. My tree would have brown branches and green leaves around the pictures of my family members with apples all around. my family members relation to me would be written under the pictures. I would draw a roller coaster as my symbol because my family is complicated. It has it's ups and down and twists and turns like a roller coaster. My family is far from perfect.

I am Ciena Rodriguez. I am 13 years old and am a freshmen at Lakeside High School. I come from Lake Elsinore. My family is loving and caring. They can be really annoying and hyper at times though. I live in Lake Elsinore. I don't think I would need much paper for a family tree. Well, maybe around 7-8 pieces of paper. I would probably add a lot of little video game things because that is basically my cousins do. Maybe draw a grill or something because we have a huge family bbq every year.

My family and I live in Lake Elsinore. My family is big and we would need at least 3 or 4 pieces or paper. I would use green, white, red, and blue because we are Mexican Americans. I would use a big rig and a bear because truck driving is in our family. I also used a bear as a symbol because bears are not mean if you don't attack and when people attack our family we don't act nice.
