I picked King Lear and the reason I choose it is unknown. It seem to be the most interesting so I choose it. Another than that no real reason. The the play "King Lear" is about a father(the king) who is going to die one day and doesn't have a son to pass his region to so he'll split it among his tree daughters. The daughters rant nice people so when thy got there portion they all tried killing each other for power. It's real messed up but that's how it is.Sadly this does happen today where Brothers and Sisters what to have the money that belong to their now gone parents and they will fight and the family would be torn apart.

The play that I picked was King Lear , the reason for my choice is it seemed to be the one easier to understand. As well as to picture since it's something that still happens to this day. I knew the play would end in tragedy because Shakespeare is known for writing such depressing plays and poems. I think it's pretty modern that you can even relate to it now a days because families do still get caught up in arguments and fights over money or anything left over from passed family members.

I chose the kind Lear play becasue I found that to be more intresting and I haven't read it yet till now and it's a pretty intense story. Main reason I picked this was becasue it said it Involved a king and 3 daughters having to share powers. I thought they were going to fight for it like regular families do but in this one they dad passed it to the 3 daufghters and after ended up fighting for it just to get the other power. Thus the kid had to give it to someone but he didn't have a son to inherited his kingdom so he had to share it mounts the 3 daughters.

I chose to read Hamlet, I did not know much about it except that there is a ghost and Hamlet pretends to be crazy after his father's death. Even though I haven't read it or watched the movie, I know that it holds so much relevancy in today's society that similar stories are told in books and movies. I know that the lion king was a spin off of this story. However, in the Lion King, the uncle did not marry the widowed mother. And instead of going crazy, Simba ran away for a long time.

I picked hamlet because it was a little easier to understand. I didn't get what it was about at first. I figured it out the futhur I analyzed it. I didn't think the ghost was real. I think that hamlet issues are very relevant to peoples lives today. But I do think Shakespeare is really dramatic and its not really my taste. It was an entertaining read though.

Literature is one way for us to hear the voices of the past and work with the present. It is a way for the present to connect to the possible future. Story telling is one way for humans to reach out to other humans. It is therapy, confession, entertainment, and knowledge all in one. Why do we study it? We learn about history we didn't experience, customs we are not familiar with or that lead to what we do and perform now, hear voices of men, women, children, dragons, elves, slaves, aliens, and other characters in order to spark imagination. We learn to think outside the literal box by reading. It forces your mind to picture places and experiences and activates our gestalt thinking, which is crucial next to just spitting back information. We can also relate to a character, real or fictional, that may have or is going through an experience like us. Or who is going through an experience that we would like to have. Or through an experience we would like to avoid.i picked king Lear because i have never read it before of heard of it i know that King Lear announces his intention to divide his kingdom into three and asks which of his daughters loves him most. He banishes Cordelia and splits his land between his other two daughters. In parallel to Lear's actions, Gloucester is deceived by his son Edmund and doubts the loyalty of his other son, Edgar.and that Gloucester is accused of treachery by Goner and Reagan for having sent Lear to Dover to meet Cordelia's army. His eyes are pulled out and he is thrown out of his home unattended. Cornwall is killed by one of his own servants.that is all i can say for now i'm not quite sure about the last question.

The play I have chosen is Hamlet. The reason I chose this play is because my favorite Disney movie, The Lion King, is based off it. I thought it would be interesting to read the original version of Hamlet. I don't know much about the play, only that it is about a prince who's dead father's apparition appeared and people want to know why. I believe that some of the motives of this play are relevant to the lives of people around us.

Yes, Shakespeare is still important today. Many of what he wrote about people is still true such as why revenge is bad and love. It never goes away.

The play i chose was the merchant of Venice. I chose this play because I want to learn about greed. I chose to learn about greed because in life greed can be good or bad. This will help me understand how greed will take part in my life. I know that play revolves on a girl choosing who she wants to marry. This interests me because i wanna know if love is something that can overpower greed.

I chose to do Hamlet. I do see Shakespeare still being relevant today. The way that his plays are interpreted is how it is shown. Such as in Hamlet that is about a prince who loses his father. Then later meets the ghost of hos father saying that he had been murdered. To make matters worse it was his own uncle who did it. This made him contemplate if it were even worth living. He goes into depression and thinks about suicide. In modern day many teens are put through a lot and are stressed out. They are barely trying to figure out what their purpose in life is.

The play I chose was Hamlet. The reason I chose this play was because it has an interesting topic that I like to read as well as like to watch. This play has to do with seeking revenge on others actions and how they get their revenge in return. I honestly don’t know that much about my choice of play. I also don’t know that much about Shakespeare. As for the modern relevancy I can’t have specific reason to argue but I can say it is such in intersting era to know what it was like. If any of those things were to happen today it would be way worse but that is just my personal opinion.

The play that I chose is Hamlet. I chose this because it’s the one I’m most familiar with I can’t excatly remember it but there is a couple of things that I know. The reason we relate to it now is because basically the play is about getting revenge. So there are people in this world that sometimes want revenge on other people for many reasons. Sometimes it’s not right and other times it’s over the top and people just overreact. Reason we still study this today is because well Shakespeare is just iconic. Sometimes his plays can tie into our life now somehow and someway. I don’t really have an argument for it modern relevancy.

The play that I chose is Hamlet. I chose it because it is a story about revenge. The play is based on a true story. His uncle killed Shakespeare’s dad and married his mom. It’s about how he wants to take revenge and avenge his father. He doesn’t know what to do so he gets all depressed. Then he meets this girl and falls in love smh. But the girl needs to choose between him and this other guy. It gets all complicated from there. That event affected his life so he writes a play about it.

I chose hamlet because I don’t read much books. But I have heard a little about this book because of English class in high school. It was kinda interesting a little bit I thought . And I don’t really know much about it so I’d thought I’d read it a little more.I do already know a little bit about Shakespeare though. Some of his books and some of his plays he wrote. I actually have watched one of his play in class . I believe it was in high school. But I didn’t know much about the guy. I learned that he had 3 kids. I learned that his dad was a Glover. I also learned that he had written about 37 plays in his life time.

The play I chose is Macbeth. I’ve already read some of it and I thought this is really weird how can a women have a hold on a man. A man should be the one to give the orders but instead Macbeth is telling her husband what to do. All she really wants is royalty and power.

The play i chose was Hamlet. Although I haven't actually read the story, I have watched Lion King which is a family friendlier version of Hamlet. I picked it because it was an interesting story to read because of the revenge story. I know that Shakespeare is a very famous playwright. Like I said before i don't know too much on Hamlet but Lion King does give a gist of what it is about. I would argue that it is still relevant to modern times since revenge can still be a big thing to happen in modern times.

The play that I chose as my Shakespeare play was Hamlet. When I first started reading the story, I didnt really know who Shakespeare was and his story Hamlet. I now know that the story is about a prince named Hamlet seeking revenge against his uncle, Claudius for murdering his father. I also now know that Shakespeare his written 38 plays. This play is still relevent today because the theme is relatable to society.

I Chose the play Hamlet. i picked it because it has to do with revenge. we study this play today because is one of the most famous plays by William Shakespeare, it hast to do with ghost, revenge, theater, accident, a duel. I know that the play is about Hamlet and his trying to get revenge for the murder of his father. Is i had to compare it with modern life it would be different because they treat murder different than how they treated it before, and there would be a lot of character changes, the only way its relevant with modern life is cause of revenge, and trying to kill the person that made you feel that way.

i chose MacBeth because of it strong themes of betrayal and seeking power for its own sake. I knew about this play as it strongly inspired movies like the throne of blood. The message of betrayal and lust for power in MacBeth is clearly shown and it doesn't shy away from it. It relates to many modern problems including power hungry politicians and people who’ll openly stab the public in the back to gain political influence. MacBeth shows how people who betray others ultimately meet their fate by those who they betrayed.
