Use writing as a tool to collect ideas. Take inventory of your general thoughts about your future. Please write 7-10 sentences on your goals for after high school. This guiding questions may be helpful.
1. If you are going to college, why did you make this decision, and where will you go? 2. What do you want to get from your college experience? 3. If you are going into the work world or the military, why are you choosing that option? 4. What do you want from working or entering the military or any other career you might be considering? Once you have finished writing, reread what you have written, and begin to 1. list reasons why you are ready for the next stage of your life, or 2. list questions regarding what you need to know about your plans. Look at the posts of your peers and give them helpful information or encouragement!

I decided college would be the best way to pursue my dream of creating a full virtual reality world instead of joining the workforce directly. Getting a college degree in Computer Science will increase my chances of getting an internship with a company that focuses on virtual and augmented reality during college. I'd like to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo because it's in Northern California in Silicon Valley which will make it much easier to get a job working with computers right after college. By working in Silicon Valley, I hope to get a few contacts that could help me get hired by a company like Oculus. Virtual reality is becoming more popular and the demand for computer scientists is rising. This nearly guarantees me a well paying job in an area that I love.

I wanted to go to college mostly because of my parents but as I got older I started more of doing it for myself. Of which college could be able to help me with the career I want. I want to be able to go to San Marcos. I want to learn what it means to live on my own with little help. I wish to work to not only get money but to do something I love. I want to be a special education teacher, and this is something that needs college experience. I wish this career will give me joy and have me be able to help people.

I decided that college was a great decision for me because I want to become a computer engineer. Being a computer Engineer is a great job because you get paid to do nothing. You get paid a lot of money and sometimes you get to work from home. I need to graduate high school then transfer to a community college to pass some classes I never passed. From the community college I will transfer to a university of my choice that will help me major in computer engineering. After I graduate I want to buy a house and get a great paying job and go surf every weekend. I also want to buy as many instruments as I can.

I wanted to go to college because its the way of life. Its gives you new life experiences. I plan to go to MSJC for two years to study business and then transfer to a four year university and be double major. I would like to learn how to do abroad of things in college. Even things that have nothing to do with my major. I would like to experience life on my own and how to handle it. I am getting ready for the stage of my life by trying to do things on my own and take responsibility for my actions. Also mentally preparing myself for the real world. The only thing I'm worried about is how I will be financially prepared for the next stage in my life and where I will live. Finding a job is difficult for me so I hope in the future that it will be easier for me.

I am going to college because I am interested in learning more about myself and life. I believe that college will be my opportunity to gain knowledge and skills for the work force and well as give me the experience I need to become an adult. I hope to explore the world and who I am in college and become successful in the future. I am so ready for this stage of my life to begin since I have been waiting so long for a drastic change in my daily routine. However I do need to find out a few things such as, which school will give me the most financial aid? And which will be able to offer me the college experience I truly desire? All questions I hope to know the answer to this time around next year.

I have decided to either go to military or a community college I'm still iffy but if I chose military it's because I want to not only serve this country but I need a new prerspective in life I want to go through hard ships so I don't fall flat on my face when something really bad happens also with military you get two years free of a college which I want to save until I really know what I want to get into then join national guard because say navy paycheck will be a separate check with national guard and if I sign up for there ROTC program I not only will be getting more money but it gives me 4 years of a university right on the spot

I would like to go to college and study political science. I plan to go to a four year university either at UC Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara or San Fran State. I decided to go to college after high school because I want to experience my part of the American Dream of going on my pursuit of happiness. I think a higher level education can help me live the lifestyle I have always dreamed of. I am very excited to start this next chapter in my life to overcome new challenges and just enjoy everything that is coming.

College is the path i intend on pursuing. It will offer an in depth view of a specific field of my choice. In college you will learn things from very experienced individuals. I want to obtain mastery of my field from college. I also wish to gain connections in my field of choice. College is a very intelligent and solid learning environment. College will be a place to gather as much information as possible.

Im going to college to be able to get a job. I'm going to go to MSJC. I want to get the best experience from mcolege as possible. I want to party and have a good involvement in the school. That's how you start to meet new fun people. The more people you get yourself involved with the more fun you can have because those people will have parties. Another benefit is they can help you in school and if you have the same class you can help each other out.

The plans I have for my future are to attend college and major in biology. I am not sure of which school I want to attend yet, but it will most likely be San Francisco State. I have chosen this path because my parents have always pressured me and made it a priority to get to college. I know it will open many doors for me and offer a better future. I am not sure what I want to spend the rest of my life doing because I am interested in many things, but not passionate about anything. I hope to find what is right for me through new experiences and time. Although I am comfortable and content with where my life is now, I am ready for a new lifestyle and environment. I want to go to Northern California to create a life and college experience of my own, and gain independence. By doing so I will begin to shape my life into what I want it to be rather than work with what I have been given.

My plan for the future are first to graduate from LHS. Then attend a 2 year community college and then from there attend a 4 year university. It will difficult to move from a community college to a university. But it will not be impossible to do it. I want to be a business man and work in a corporation that pays very highly. It is a big goal but i can get there and succeed.

I know for sure that I'm going to college after high school. i don't exactly know what college i want to go to because that depends on many things, but I'll know when the time comes. what i want to get from college is finish up the classes i didn't do in high school. A 4 year university requires a specific amount of years from specific classes, and i don't have all the years of those required classes and i won't be able to do them this year. i think going into working would be a bad idea because you fall behind on everything you've learned in high school. Another thing I'm not decided on yet is what i wanna major on, there are many options and it's just very stressful to me. One thing I'm good at is drawing, so maybe a career having to do with drawing would be good for me. if i were ro change my mind for some reason about drawing,i feel like the next career I'd go to it psychology, i find it extremely interesting. i think graphic design has to do something with drawing, I'm gonna try to learn more about that career and see if I find interest in it. I have a basic idea of my plans after high school but i haven't thought out the details, but I'm working on it and when the end of the year comes, I'll be ready.

My goal does not consist of going to college after high school. Rather I will enroll in vocational schooling to become a personal trainer. Just as a start on my path to becoming an overall health trainer if you will. Learn all aspects of health such as mental, emotional, social, physical which includes nutrion. With this goal I hope to help individuals have a far better quality of life by understanding their issues and how to eliminate them, making them a far healthier and happier person. Obviously with added benefit of having your body perfectly function as long as possible.

I am sure of what i wanna do afyer highschool, i wanna go to college and then to a 4 year university. I'm not sure what i wanna do after college though which is my main problem, i really like art and drawing so i probably wanna do something related to that subject. I don't know what i wanna major in either. Right now all i know is i wanna learn how to drive this summer so i can drive myself to college, a college taht isn't do far away, I've been thinking maybe msjc since it's a good community college and is very close to me, only 20 min by car. I'm making the devision to go to college because i wanna get a good job and make good money. If i just got straight to work and don't go to college, i will only get minnimum wage and it will be harder to get back to college if i chose to want to go later.I wanna get a good ege experinece so i can do what i love while being successful and so it will keep me motivated to keep on with my education till i get a salary that I'm satisfied with.

My goal after high school is to go to college. I'm going to colllege because the the kind of job I want needs it. First I am going to go to community college for two years to get my general education out of the way. I have heard that you save money if you go to community college first. After I want to go to a cal poly school because they have good engineering programs. I want to learn more about math and physics from my college experience. I'm going to become some sort of engineer. I am thinking maybe a mechanical engineer but I am not 100% sure right now. I just know I want an engineeering job that contains math. I've been interested in engineering since the beginning of my high school career.

I want to transfer into a 4 year college after community college because i want to become a veterinarian. But if i can't transfer into a 4 year college, then i still want to study to reach my dream career. After college, I want to buy a house with a farm or big backyard and get a great paying job in San Diego and adopt 2 dogs and maybe some other animals.

I made the decision to go to college because, I know it will help to better my future. I hope to go to the UCSD, it is my dream school. They have one of the best science programs, which will be good for me because I plan on majoring in biology, in order to become a biology teacher. Leaving college I would have wanted the experience of the higher level classes, and the typical experiences from college.

My plans after high school is to get a good paying job and save up for a 1992 r32 skyline gtr. I am planning to go to msjc for nursing. I chose nursing because they get paid $40 an hour and i wanna make a lot of money for the standard of living I want to be in. The lifestyle I want is to be slightly above middle class and close to being rich. I want this because I want my kids to be able to get all the things that they want because I know I know I couldn’t always get what I wanted.

I am hoping to go to college. I want to go to a four year university. The university that I want to go to is CSUN. I want to major in civil engineering as well as structural. The reason I want to go is to see how I would do on my own. As well as feel the atmosphere of actually being there and being semi-independent.

My plans after highschool are simple so far because I don't have everything figured out yet. My first step is to just graduate and get my diploma, I messed up my junior year and am paying for it now. This year I am nothing but focused and trying to plan my future, I want to go to a junior college to save money. I'm thinking msjc or rcc to get my general education done and see what field I want to major in, I'm leaning towards taking crimonalogy and seeing what it would be like to work with law enforcement. I'd try and become a cop or detective, something to keep me busy with because I feel I work better when I have things I need to do every single day. After junior college I'd transfer out to a university and finish my education and hopefully have a master's or bachelor's. I haven't figured out which university I would go to yet, hopefully this year I can figure everything out and have my plan 100% ready before it's time to walk.

After high school I am going to start working. I wanted to go to college but I don't have the grades for a scholarship. I have to pay to get into a community college. When I get older I want to travel to different parts of the world and live in New York. But for now I have to focus on graduating with good grades. I am going to graduate with my class. When I start working I am going go save my money to visit my family outside of the country.

My future afterhighschool is actually quite the journey. I would like to go to community college first and get those units so that I can tranfer out. I would like to transfer out hopefully in two years and go to a medical school. As I go and learn as well as gain the knowledge and experience I will then go to a university to get my bachelor's. As you may want to know, My dream is to become an OB GYN and it takes up to twelve years in order for that to happen. If I don't happen to go into college right after highschool I will enter in Medic programs. From there I would honestly go with the flow and see where my future is headed to.

I have made the decision of not going to collage after highschool. I want to go into the work world before I go to collage. Why would I go pay for school when I don’t have the money. I want to be able to make enough money where I fell comfetable going to collage. I don’t want to get my self in a huge student debt that’s the main reason I want to work first. I fell it’s smart of me to not go first so I can mature first.

My goal for after highschool is to become a welder and then go to school for desial mechanic. I want to become a welder right after highschool becuase its the shortest course and i can work for 2 years to save for my tuition for mechanic school. Once i get this done i feel ill be set and be able to set up my life in the way that I’d like to do so. Of course my first goal is to graduate high school. I’d love to be able to make at the least $30 an hour bybthe time 24 years old because of my certificates I’ll have that ability to do so. Ive came from a low income single parent home and i want my future to be better than the life I’ve lived so far.

I was never forced to want to go to college but it’s always been the only option for me. My mind has been set to college ever since middle school. My dream school has changed from time to time but it never stuck, until about 7th grade. At the time, I wanted to major in music, after being in band for 2 years at the time, and I had learned that my band director went to Cal State Fullerton and something in my head clicked. Fullerton has been my school ever since, even though the major has changed over 100 times it seems like. It’s gone from culinary arts, to music, to psychology, and, finally, to sociology. Learning the science behind human interactions is so fascinating to me. Though the future is never certain, it’s good to have a plan for it.

Going to college for me is the best option because I need to figure out what I want to do for the rest of life. It will give me a good basis over the things I already know and enjoy and giving me a better skill set. What I want to gain from my college experience is a new understanding of the world and a better understanding of what adult life will be like. I am going into the work world but at some point I may join the military. I want to get a job and begin my life not before school but I am looking at it as an opportunity to grow as an individual. Im ready to take that next step of my life because I want to be able to make my own choices and live my life the way I want to live it. I believe I have made good improvements to myself this year and I'm ready for the next chapter of my life.

I decided to go to universal technical institute because it fits me and my personality I'm a big car guy and worked on cars with my dad since I was little so I wanted learn more things at UTI. UTI will Also help me get a part time job while I attend there then when I graduate they would give me a full time job at these big car dealers like a technician for Mercedes, Porsche, dodge, ford and etc. I picked this way because I want to show my family what I've done and accomplished start a family business to show what I've created for me and my family.
